Headline: SIWA at the Impacts World Conference 2013: Co-Designing Usable Knowledge with Stakeholders

A key for communicating scientific findings effectively is to form long-lasting relationships allowing for multi-way communication and mutual learning. This is particularly important for issues cutting across multiple sectors like climate change and air pollution. At the 2013 Impacts World Conference, Julia Schmale will present the first lessons of the project “Short-Lived Climate-forcing Pollutants: Research Needs and Pathways to Policy Implementation” (ClimPol). The Impacts Conference is organized by the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research and aims to develop a new vision for climate impacts research by laying the foundations for regular, community-driven syntheses of climate change impact analyses.
