Headline: Veranstaltungen in 2024

The "Real Deal Summit - Placing people and the planet at the heart of the green and just transition" will be held at Central European University, Budapest, Hungary, 19-21 June 2024. Academics and researchers, civil society representatives, practitioners and other stakeholders are invited to come together for a three-day conference and project summit on deliberative democracy and effective citizen engagement in the context of the European Green Deal.

Im Herbst 2024 feiert die Musiktheater-Produktion The Great Reset des Theaterkollektives »mehrblick&ton« im grossen Saal des Heimathafen Neukölln Premiere.
Dafür lädt der Heimathafen im Juni vorab zu einer einmaligen Gelegenheit ein, sich mit Ideen und Visionen eines neuen ökonomischen, ökologischen und gesellschaftlichen Miteinanders in die Entwicklung des Stückes einzubringen.

Shifting Basslines is a collaborative and creative research project by research fellow Kerstin Meißner, that links climate change and raving. A storytelling podcast series at it´s core the project is dedicated to understanding the socio cultural relevance of dance floors as spaces for connection, exploration and change. The podcast covers topics ranging from mobility and spaces, to data and digitalisation and the body and emotions - a journey from the outside in. We are inviting you to celebrate the podcast release together with the production team. Kerstin Meißner will be in conversation with the three curators of each episode before we can all share the dance floor.

On May 27-28, 2024, the Cascade Institute, the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK), the Research Institute for Sustainability - Helmholtz Centre Potsdam (RIFS), and the Centre for the Study of Existential Risk will co-host scientists from around the world to work together to better understand the growing interconnections between the world’s problems.

Prof. Eike Roswag-Klinge, Leiter des Natural Building Lab an der TU Berlin, Sofiia Halat, Architektin und Expertin für Biomimikry an der Kyiv National University for Construction and Architecture, und Eugene Kuzmenko, Gründer des Bauunternehmens Geodesic.Life.

Schafwolle hat ungeahnte Potenziale, als nicht nur nachwachsendes, sondern auch schwer brennbares, isolierendes und heilendes Material. Aspekte der Verfügbarkeit des Materials in Europa, seiner Einsatzfähigkeit bei Bauen im Bestand und beim Wiederaufbau im ukrainischen Distrikt Mikolayiv im Besonderen diskutieren u. a. Folke Köbberling, Professorin für architekturbezogene Kunst an der TU Braunschweig, Andreas Flock, professioneller Brandschützer, und Helen Ivanova, stellvertretende Leiterin der Abteilung für sozioökonomische Entwicklung des Distrikts Mikolayiv.
