Implications of Sustainability Conceptions in Software Engineering & Development Practice

The workshop facilitation is based on a transdisciplinary review of sustainability frameworks and criteria developed for assessing the quality and sustainability of software, software projects and digital artifacts. The review reveled three major categories of sustainability frameworks relating to software and software engineering: Product-oriented, Procedural and Systemic sustainability frameworks. The workshop will be organized along the introduction of representative frameworks for each category, their respective sustainability dimensions, and criteria.

Transitioning Towards an Inclusive and Sustainable Society

Convergences, HEDERA Sustainable Solutions and the Institute for Advanced Sustainability Studies, within the framework of the Impact-Driven and Action-Based Research Project (IMPACT-R), in a collaboration with a working group, will organize the 1st edition of the 3Zero Mexico Forum in February 2022 to develop a dialogue platform and network among all stakeholders focused on sustainable and inclusive development.

Doch wie ist dieses Werk heute, angesichts globaler Umweltzerstörung und Migrationen, weiterzudenken, -dichten und -komponieren? Der Workshop ist der Auftakt einer transdisziplinären Reihe, die im Herbst in eine Aufführungsreihe „Neuer Lieder von der Erde“ mündet.
