Marc Maleika

Marc has been working for more than 15 years at the intersection of technology, startups and human development. He co-founded three companies, exited one and is supporting others with the launch of theirs. Prior to RIFS Marc was advising international corporates on their journey towards net-zero.

At RIFS Marc is launching a social venture that helps accelerate the development of transparent and more equitable nature-based credits. Sylva develops forest and biodiversity credits with the help of Machine Learning and remote and in-situ sensing technologies.

Marc started his career at the Social Development Unit at the World Bank Group. He holds a Masters in Economics from Maastricht University and a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University.
