How is Spain seeking to engage with actors within and outside of the EU to promote its hydrogen vision?
How can Spain contribute to the development of a European hydrogen economy and what are the necessary preconditions?

Wasserstoff gilt als Schlüsseltechnologie für den Umbau von Industrien und Volkswirtschaften auf dem Weg zur Klimaneutralität. Wir werfen im Rahmen eines Expertengesprächs einen Blick auf den technologischen Entwicklungsstand in China, mögliche politische und wirtschaftliche Konsequenzen und skizzieren Handlungsoptionen für Deutschland und die EU.

Die "Expedition Hope" ist eine Radtour für eine ambitioniertere Klimapolitik. Aktivistinnen und Aktivisten planen von Berlin nach Potsdam und von dort aus durch ganz Deutschland und Europa bis zur UN-Klimakonferenz zu radeln. Zum Auftakt der »Expedition Hope« findet am 22. April 2023 (internationaler "Tag der Erde") in Potsdam der "Common Cause Summit for our Planet Earth" statt.

Green hydrogen and its derivatives represent a key to the decarbonization of hard-to-electrify sectors, including industry and long-distance transport. With the formulation of climate-neutrality targets in Europe, the ramp-up of green hydrogen production for this purpose has gained increasing attention.

In this workshop, the roles and contributions of global and WTO accepted non-state standardization organizations, i.e. the International Standardization Organization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) as well as their European standardization organization pendants (CEN/CENELEC) towards the UN-SD goal 13 ’Climate Action’ are focused.

In this workshop, experts will come together to take a closer look at the specific challenges and uncertainties surrounding both "Green" and "Blue" hydrogen. The aim is to bring together the evidence base as well as stimulate discussions for comparing and assessing these two production pathways.
