Karina Marzano

Karina Marzano ist Doktorandin an der Willy Brandt School of Public Policy an der Universität Erfurt unter der Betreuung von Professor Andreas Goldthau und Stipendiatin eines dreijährigen EIZ-Stipendiums der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung. Außerdem ist sie Associate Fellow am Forschungsinstitut für Nachhaltigkeit (RIFS).
Karinas Forschung liegt an der Schnittstelle zwischen Klima und Handel. Ihr Promotionsprojekt befasst sich mit der Rolle der privaten Governance in der globalen Energiewende.
Marzano ist zugelassene Rechtsanwältin mit einem Bachelor of Laws von der Bundesuniversität in Minas Gerais, Brasilien, einem MBA-Abschluss in Internationalen Beziehungen von der Getulio Vargas Foundation und einem Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Europäischem Recht und Integration vom Europa-Institut der Universität des Saarlandes, Deutschland. Bis August 2019 arbeitete Karina als Projektmanagerin des Regionalprogramms für Energiesicherheit und Klimawandel in Lateinamerika der Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung.
