Dr. Dorota Stasiak leitet die Forschungsgruppe „Ko-Kreation in der demokratischen Praxis". Gemeinsam mit ihrem interdisziplinären Team erforscht sie - sowohl konzeptionell als auch durch Design, Durchführung und Auswertung von konkreten Prozessen - wie ko-kreative Ansätze dazu beitragen können, komplexe soziale und ökologische Herausforderungen auf demokratische Weise anzugehen. Dorota hat an der Universität Warschau Politikwissenschaften (MA, PhD) und angewandte Linguistik (MA) abgeschlossen. Ihr Hintergrund umfasst auch Projektmanagement im klassischen und agilen Rahmen, sowie verschiedene Facilitationsmethoden. Bevor sie 2017 zum RIFS (damals IASS) kam, arbeitete sie u.A. als Postdoc an der Hertie School of Governance, forschte im Rahmen des DAAD-Stipendiums zur Rolle von Beratungsinstitutionen, war an mehreren nationalen und internationalen Forschungsprojekten beteiligt und übersetzte sozialwissenschaftliche Bücher. Dorotas Forschungsschwerpunkte sind Politikberatung, demokratische Innovationen sowie „Kunst, Handwerk und Wissenschaft" der effektiven Kollaboration.
